How to Join Swadhyay
We plan to initiate a video session as well as a telephone conference. Please follow these steps:
For Video Broadcast
Click on the "Join Live Swadhyay"
video link shown on the right. If the moderator has started the video
conference, then you will be automatically connected to the session. If the conference has not yet started, you will see a picture of "OM". Also, you will see "Off Air" message at the bottom. In that case, just wait. You will receive live picture as soon as the session starts.
When you enter the conference, initially an advertisement will play for approximately half a minute.
For Telephone
Dial the number on right.
And enter the pin number shown. Follow the instructions on the phone.
If the session has started, you will be asked to announce yourself.
Please announce yourself and mute your phone's mic to minimize any
noise. It is advisable to be in a quiet room to keep the conference line
noise-free. If the conference has not yet started, then you will hear a message that - "you are the first caller". If so, Please hang up. And retry after some time.
Participating in a session (asking questions)
Currently, the questions can be asked on telephone conference only. So if you are connected to live video, and if you wish to ask a question, you will need to join the telephone conference. When you wish to speak, or when the speaker has opened the session for questions:
- Please press *6 (star and then 6) on your phone. This will unmute your line.
- Now you can speak and ask your question (You may announce your name before asking your question for the benefit of other participants).
- When you have completed asking your question, please press *6 (star and then 6). This will mute your line.
